Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is keeping his options open as his side prepares for a crucial showdown against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Portuguese manager, known for his meticulous approach, stressed that every player in his squad is in contention for a starting spot, including former Gunner Chido Obi.
“Everybody can start,” Amorim said when asked about Obi’s potential involvement. “If they are training tomorrow, if they play today, they can be ready – and Chido is on the list, so he can play.”
With a smaller squad at his disposal, Amorim acknowledged the balancing act required to keep his team both fresh and competitive for the high-stakes encounter.
“When you are in this kind of club, you cannot think like that with a small squad in this moment. We are trying to see all the players who are fresh and who are not in danger of getting an injury,” he explained. “Even with that, we have to risk a little bit, but we have to be competitive on Sunday.”
United will need every edge they can get as they aim to secure a vital result against their top-four rivals.
