Wilfried Zaha aims to rebuild at Crystal Palace and break into England squad
Wilfried Zaha has joined Crystal Palace on loan this summer, seeking regular first-team football as he aims to revive his career and secure a place in the England national team.
The Anglo-Ivorian forward, who belongs to Manchester United, sees this loan spell as a crucial step towards returning stronger to his parent club and making his international debut.
“My objective is to give my best this season,” Zaha told Sky Sports. “I want to make sure I integrate well into Manchester United’s training and break into the England squad. It’s great to be playing regularly again. There’s nothing better than being on the pitch and hearing the crowd chant your name.”
The 21-year-old added that the Crystal Palace manager is keen to give him consistent game time to aid his development. “He wants me to progress and I’m happy to be here,” Zaha said.
So far this season, Zaha has featured in two matches and scored once across all competitions, showing promising signs of a return to form.
