Crystal Palace have joined the race for the signing of France-born midfielder of Senegalese descent Andy Diouf.
The player already targeted by German side Bayer Leverkusen is a transfer target of several clubs in Europe this summer.
The young midfielder had a good campaign in the French Ligue 1 with RC Lens during the 2024/25 football season.
In that season, Andy Diouf was a regular for his team, scoring a goal and providing two assists after making 34 appearances in Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old now looks set for a move abroad and could play in either England or Germany next season.
Crystal Palace are said to have expressed interest in the midfielder during the January window but were unsuccessful.
The club continued to monitor Andy Diouf and wants to do everything to sign him this summer.
The Eagles face strong competition from Bayer Leverkusen, with the club also bent on signing the midfielder to augment their squad for the next football season.
RC Lens are willing to let the player go but wants the right price for the talented youngster.
