Earlier today, Ayoub El Amloud and team captain Yahya Jabrane arrived at Wydad Athletic Club’s Benjaloun Complex in Casablanca for a pivotal meeting with the club’s appointed president, Hicham Aït Manna.
Aït Manna, who has been tirelessly working from his office since 10 AM daily, is expected to negotiate the renewal of the players’ contracts, which expired on June 30th.

An insider source revealed that the players’ presence was requested by the management to discuss their future with the club.

This initiative by Aït Manna is seen as an effort to rectify the negotiation errors of the former president, Abdelmajid Bournaqi, which previously led to the departure of key players, including El Amloud and Jabrane.

Aït Manna is keen on ensuring that the mistakes of the past are not repeated. He aims to secure the renewal of contracts for the essential members of the Wydad squad and strengthen the team with experienced and skilled players.

The urgency of the meeting highlights the club’s commitment to stabilizing and fortifying its roster ahead of the upcoming season.
