Following the cancellation of the general assembly of June 19, 2013, by the Appeals Commission of the Cameroonian Football Federation, the elected officials of that assembly have decided to appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). In their press release, Fecafoot (Cameroonian Football Federation) expressed their belief that the electoral appeals commission did not properly apply the statutes and the electoral code of Fecafoot. Therefore, they have chosen to challenge the decision through the CAS.
