Vincent Aboubakar Inspires Stunning Comeback in Eight-Goal Ligue 1 Thriller

Just minutes later, Aboubakar completed the comeback in sensational style, netting his 16th goal of the season and rescuing a point for the Merlus in the dying moments of the match.
The draw leaves both teams still grappling with mid-table uncertainty, but for Lorient, the character shown in the final moments – led by the dynamic Aboubakar – will provide a welcome boost in confidence heading into the final weeks of the campaign.
For Montpellier, however, it was a case of two points lost rather than one gained, after letting a three-goal cushion slip away in the closing stages.
