Cracovia weigh move for Sheffield United teenager Siem Eyob-Abraha

Siem Eyob-Abraha, the Eritrean-English forward at Sheffield United Under-18 level, has been linked with a move to Polish club Cracovia.

The 18-year-old centre-forward is reportedly attracting attention from the Ekstraklasa side, although there has been no confirmation that a transfer has been agreed. The rumour emerged on 31 August, with no fee or probability attached to the proposed move.

Eyob-Abraha joined Sheffield United’s academy from Manchester United’s youth set-up in July 2024. He had previously been part of the Manchester United Under-18 team that won the English Youth League in the 2023-24 season.

The Agordat-born striker has recorded three appearances in the FA Youth Cup, playing 197 minutes, as well as featuring once in the Premier League Cup and once in the Under-18 Premier League. He has been listed as a right-footed centre-forward.

Eyob-Abraha represents a player with ties to both Eritrea and England, while his current club status remains Sheffield United Under-18. A move to Cracovia would represent a switch from English youth football to senior competition in Poland, but the reported interest has not yet developed into a confirmed transfer.
