Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has suggested he could return from injury sooner than expected after posting a cryptic message on social media.
The 22-year-old suffered an ankle injury in February, halting his progress under manager Amorim.
However, Diallo’s recent Snapchat post—featuring a sand timer and a smiley face emoji—has sparked speculation that he may be close to full fitness.
Fans believe the post signals his imminent return, with initial reports suggesting he would be sidelined until May.
Amorim had previously expressed hope that Diallo could return before the end of the season but remained cautious about setting a definite timeline.
“Even Amad, we will see at the end of the last month,” Amorim said. “I don’t want to say anything, but I have the hope to have Amad before the end of the season.”
Manchester United have struggled this season, sitting 13th in the Premier League, just three points above 16th-placed West Ham.
Injuries have been a major setback, with Lisandro Martinez ruled out and Harry Maguire requiring careful management.
However, Amorim confirmed that Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte, Luke Shaw, and Mason Mount are all expected to return soon.
