Congolese international, Christ Makosso, has expressed his delight after completing his move to English Championship side Luton Town.
The club announced the signing of the highly-rated youngster in an official statement on Tuesday, December 31.
“The Hatters have shaken hands on the first deal of the January transfer window by agreeing the signing of highly rated centre-half Christ Makosso from January 1st, subject to international clearance.
“The 20-year-old, who has already won three caps for his native Congo, arrives at Kenilworth Road for an undisclosed fee from Belgian second division outfit RWD Molenbeek,” Luton Town announced.
Speaking in his first interview, Christ Makosso said he is excited and cannot wait to get started.
“I’m really excited to be joining Luton. I’ve seen so many positive stories about the club and the amazing fans. I can’t wait to meet my new teammates and get working with them and the coaches,” he said.
Christ Makosso added, “Everyone has made me feel welcome and I’m looking forward to being at Kenilworth Road for the first time to watch us tomorrow.”
