UAE to Host 2017 and 2018 FIFA Club World Cup Editions
The FIFA Executive Committee has officially awarded the hosting rights for the 2017 and 2018 FIFA Club World Cup to the United Arab Emirates. This marks a return for the UAE, which previously organized the tournament in 2009 and 2010.
The decision follows the successful editions held in Morocco in 2013 and 2014, where Bayern Munich and Real Madrid emerged as champions respectively.
The Club World Cup is an annual tournament that features the champion clubs from each of FIFA’s six continental confederations, along with the host nation’s league champion.
