In a post on his Facebook page, Konaré claimed to be in a situation he perceives as a “mess” and mentioned that he is uncertain if he has fallen victim to a scam. To protest against what he describes as “the excesses of football which calls itself professional,” the 21-year-old player announced his decision to start a hunger strike.
