Claude Le Roy, the coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo, faced two refusals ahead of the friendly match against Burkina Faso on November 14. Midfielders Steven N’Zonzi from Stoke City and Granddi Ngoyi from Troyes declined the invitation to join the Leopards squad. Le Roy had intended to test bi-national players who could potentially represent the national team.
