It appears that Christian Gourcuff is set to become the new coach of the Algerian national football team after the World Cup, according to reports from Canal+. Although this information is still considered speculative, it was mentioned during the “Canal Football Club” program on Sunday.
While neither Gourcuff nor the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) have officially confirmed the appointment, it is believed that discussions have taken place between them. This potential move suggests that Gourcuff, who currently manages Lorient, may be transitioning to coaching in Africa starting July.
