Chippa United FC has officially confirmed a major squad overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 season, parting ways with 18 players following the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.

The South African club made the announcement today via their official social media platforms, signaling a fresh start as they prepare for the challenges of a new season.

Among those not returning are Darren Johnson, Lukhanyo July, Justice Chabalala, Samkelo Jali, and Andile Jali. The list also includes Baraka Majogoro, Athenkosi Diala, Ronald Sanou, Craig Martin, Ronald Maarman, Thobani Jacobs, Sfiso Mazibuko, Avive Mqokozo, Enock Sakala, and Bienvenu Eva Nga.

In addition to these departures, three loan players, Aphelele Teto, Siphelo Baloni, and Sonwabile Khumalo—will head back to their parent clubs.

“We extend our sincere gratitude to each of them for their service and commitment during their time at the club. Their contributions, both on and off the field, are appreciated and respected,” said Sporting Director Sinesipho Mali.

Chippa United appears set to rebuild and refocus its squad with fresh energy for the upcoming campaign.
