English Premier League side, Chelsea, are targeting signing Dutch-born forward of Nigerian descent, Emanuel Emegha.
The Blues have reportedly “presented a career plan” to Strasbourg striker and want to push to secure his services in the summer transfer window.
The youngster has enjoyed an impressive season in the French Ligue 1 in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign.
As a result, he has caught the attention of several European clubs, including multiple Premier League sides.
Chelsea, who share ownership ties with Strasbourg, are said to be leading the race for Emanuel Emegha.
Newcastle United are also keeping close tabs on the 22-year-old, with the club hoping to sign the forward as a replacement for Swedish-Eritrean forward Alexander Isak if he leaves in the summer window.
This season, Emegha has been in fine form for Racing Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1. He has scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 25 league appearances.
Officials at Chelsea are confident that he will solve the goalscoring problem at the club if he is signed.
