Premier League outfit Chelsea have secured the services of Franco-Senegalese defender Mamadou Sarr in the ongoing transfer window.
The Blues are bolstering their squad for the new campaign, as they eye a strong return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
Last season, Sarr played for Strasbourg and became an integral part of the team that finished in the UEFA Europa League qualifying spots.
Sarr has signed a contract running until 2033 and will be eligible to travel with the Londoners to the FIFA Club World Cup.
The 19-year-old defender is expected to continue his development at the Premier League outfit heading into the new campaign.
Additionally, Chelsea has offered AC Milan €15 million for Mike Maignan. The Blues are seeking a response by Tuesday, the closing day of the transfer window ahead of the Club World Cup.
