Chelsea manger Enzo Maresca has hailed Senegal star Nicolas Jackson’s attitude following victory over Tottenham Hotspurs in the English Premier League.
The former Villarreal attacker played a pivotal role when the Blues cruised to a 4-3 away win over Tottenham last weekend.
Jackson lasted 76 minutes for Chelsea as his outfit managed to secure maximum points in the thrilling clash.
However, Maresca has highlighted the attitude of Nicolas Jackson this season, saying he is a winner.
“When we scored and made it to 2-2, everyone went to Cole Palmer to cheer. But only one player went to the ball to take it up to the middle. It was Nico.
“It shows he’s a winner. Players cheer while one takes the ball up to the middle. It shows what type he is.
“He was angry and disappointed because he didn’t score.”
The Senegal international is expected to play a huge role when Chelsea take on Brentford in the Premier League tonight.
