Premier League are seeking to re-sign Nottingham Forest and Nigeria defender Ola Aina ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old has performed admirably for Nottingham Forest this season, making 30 appearances across competitions, scoring two goals and delivering one assist.

His outstanding performance has caught the attention of several clubs including Chelsea, who are seeking to strengthen their squad in the summer.

Aina has been instrumental for Nottingham as the team battel for a slot in Europe due to their impressive performance this season.

The Blues are expected to sign a new right-back and are considering re-signing Aina, who previously featured for the youth team.

Aina’s contract with Nottingham Forest expires this summer, and Chelsea could acquire him as a free agent.

He could be a great addition to the Chelsea set up should a move materialize in the summer window.
