England forward of Nigerian descent, Noni Madueke has been ruled out of action for the next month.
The Chelsea forward sustained a hamstring injury in the team’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League last week.
He has subsequently undergone a series of tests and scans to ascertain the extent of the injury.
Today, sources have revealed that Noni Madueke will spend at least four weeks on the sidelines.
He could return to action after the March international break.
The injury of Noni Madueke presents a big challenge for Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca.
The gaffer has come under fire in recent times following a series of bad results in the English Premier League.
With Ukrainian Mykhailo Mudryk still unavailable, the Chelsea manager now only has Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho as senior wingers to work with.
He can also fall on academy graduate Tyrique George when needed.
