Cheick Tidiane Diabate joins NK Rudes on loan from Samsunspor
Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tidiane Diabate has joined Croatian club NK Rudes from Turkish side Samsunspor on loan until 30 June 2027.
The 19-year-old central midfielder, who is right-footed, switches clubs after joining Samsunspor from Ivorian side CO Korhogo on a free transfer in July 2026. His move to Rudes was completed on 3 September.
Diabate was born in Sikensi and is the only nationality listed for the player. He arrives at Rudes with the Croatian club holding his registration for the remainder of the 2026-27 campaign, before he is due to return to Samsunspor at the end of the loan.
The transfer takes Diabate from Turkey’s Super Lig to the SuperSport HNL. He did not make an appearance for Samsunspor during the opening three possible league matches of the 2026-27 season, with no starts or minutes recorded before his departure.
At Rudes, Diabate will continue his development as a central midfielder after making the move into European football with Samsunspor earlier in the summer. His initial contract with the Turkish club runs until 30 June 2027, matching the scheduled end of his spell in Croatia.
The move represents Diabate’s second club transfer of the 2026-27 season. He left CO Korhogo for Samsunspor on 11 July before completing the loan switch to Rudes less than two months later.
Rudes have therefore added a young Ivorian midfielder to their squad for the current campaign, while Samsunspor retain his services beyond the temporary move. Diabate’s loan to NK Rudes is complete and runs until 30 June 2027.
