Hazem Emam, former Zamalek star and member of the Egyptian Football Association, shared his predictions for the Al Ahly versus Zamalek match in the Egypt Cup final.
Al Ahly and Zamalek will clash at 7:30 PM Cairo time, 8:30 PM Mecca time, at the “First Park” stadium in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh.
Emam, speaking during his presence in the match’s analysis studio, commented, “Predicting the outcome of Al Ahly and Zamalek matches is very difficult.
Two months ago, I would have said Al Ahly was the favorite, but now things have changed in the White Castle after the new signings.”
He elaborated, “The return of Fetooh and Mostafa Mohamed, alongside Shikabala and Zizo, along with new signings like Abdullah El Said and Nasser Maher, give Zamalek an extra edge in the summit match.”
Regarding Al Ahly’s preparations, he said, “Al Ahly is a stable team with very strong alternatives, and Koller has been present for a long time and is well-prepared, unlike Gomes, who faces a tough task due to the limited time between his appointment and the summit match.”
Emam concluded, “I hope for a strong match between the two poles, and may the victory be Zamalek’s.”
