Champions League: I’m confident we can turn it around – English-Nigeria attacker Bukayo Saka ahead of Arsenal trip to PSG

English-Nigeria winger, Bukayo Saka, is confident Arsenal can come back from their 1-0 deficit in the first leg to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final tie at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

The Premier League club are trailing the semi-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain after Dembele’s early strike gave the Parisians a 1-0 win in Tuesday’s first leg at the Emirates.

Nevertheless, Saka is confident his side can turn the tie around as Mikel Arteta’s men visit the Parc des Princes on Wednesday to decide which team will progress into the final.

“I think it’s important to stay calm. Obviously, we know we have another level to go and I think we’re going to show it in Paris. I’m confident we can turn it around,” he told ‘Sky Sports Premier League’.

The 23-year-old winger recognised that PSG have improved massively from their last meeting earlier in October, which Arsenal won by 2-0 in the league phase of the top continental club competition.

“It’s like a different team. Their cohesion, their flow, and how they move the ball around impressed me a lot,” he said, adding that PSG were ‘probably’ the best team he faced this season.

The much-anticipated game has been scheduled for 18:00 GMT.
