Aymen El-Ramady, the head coach of the first football team at Ceramica Cleopatra Club, has shed light on the reasons behind rejecting the transfer of Ahmed Yasser Ryan, the team’s striker, to Zamalek during the last winter transfer window.
In televised statements on ON Time Sports satellite channel, Aymen El-Ramady said, “I refused, as a coach, the departure of Ahmed Yasser Ryan to Zamalek.”
He further stated, “However, Ceramica’s club management rejected Ahmed Yasser Ryan’s move to Zamalek for one reason: It’s not acceptable to have a player from Al Ahly club, who was raised in Al Ahly, and then he goes to Zamalek or vice versa.”
“It wouldn’t be right for us to take a player from Al Ahly and then loan him to Zamalek or vice versa,” he emphasized.
El-Ramady continued, “The same applies to the situation of Mohamed Shokry.”
“We, as the technical staff, insisted on keeping Ryan and Shokry, and the club management rejected their departure to preserve the relationships with all clubs,” he concluded.
