Moataz El-Batawy, the general supervisor of Ceramica Cleopatra’s football team, shed light on the potential return of Mohamed Shokry, the team’s left-back, to Al Ahly during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Speaking in a phone interview on the program “Al-Layeb,” broadcasted on MBC Egypt, Moataz El-Batawy stated, “We have maintained strong ties with Al Ahly since our promotion to the Premier League.
There is a clause in Mohamed Shokry’s contract that allows Al Ahly to reclaim the player at the end of each season for a specific fee.”
Elaborating further, he added, “Al Ahly had the option to reclaim the player’s services at the end of the first season, and in the second season, they have the right to do so at the conclusion of the current campaign for a fee of 9 million Egyptian pounds.”
Continuing his remarks, El-Batawy expressed, “It is pleasing for us that Al Ahly seeks to bring back their players after they have enhanced their performance with Ceramica Cleopatra.”
