Ceramica Cleopatra sealed their dominance in the Capital Cup with a convincing 2–0 win over National Bank in Thursday’s final at Al-Salam Stadium, clinching the trophy for the third consecutive season.
The Cairo-based club showed composure and control throughout the match, delivering when it mattered most.
Mohamed Reza Bobo opened the scoring in the 41st minute with a powerful effort that beat goalkeeper Abdul Aziz Al-Balouti. South African striker Fakhri Lakai then secured the win in the 80th minute with a composed finish, sealing another memorable night for the team in red.
The victory marks coach Ali Maher’s first trophy with Ceramica Cleopatra and the second of his managerial career. He now stands level with former coach Ayman Ramadi, who guided the team to the previous two titles.
With the win, Ceramica Cleopatra also secure a spot in the Egyptian Super Cup, joining Al Ahly and Zamalek. The fourth team is expected to be confirmed by the event’s sponsors.
