Senegal secured the title in the 6th edition of the Beach Soccer CAN by defeating Ivory Coast 4-1. This victory marks Senegal’s third African Beach Soccer Cup, with previous wins in 2008 and 2011. Ivory Coast’s Sakanoko scored a consolation goal, but Senegal’s Koukpaki, Ng Sylla, and Cheikh sealed the win. Both Senegal and Ivory Coast will participate in the upcoming World Cup in Tahiti in September. In the match for third place, Morocco defeated Nigeria 7-2, with Nassim El Hadaoui named the “Best Player of the Competition.”
