Zambia and Mozambique played out a tense draw in Group F of the 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers this afternoon at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
The 2012 champions, Zambia, hoped to secure all three points on home soil but were held to a 0-0 stalemate by a resilient Mozambique side.
Mozambique came close to taking the lead early on when Josemar narrowly missed a chance in the 12th minute. Zambia fought back and also threatened late in the first half, but neither team could find the net throughout the match.
This result marks the first draw in the qualifiers so far.
