After a day of total rest, the team, led by coach Didier Six, conducted a training session at the Kabokweni municipal stadium. According to a member of the management, the focus was on a gentle recovery for the players. The session lasted around 45 minutes, emphasizing teamwork and skill exercises. The training aimed to maintain the team’s physical condition and cohesion as they prepare for the knockout stage.
On the following day, the team planned a traditional pre-match training session, along with a press conference at the Protea Hotel in Nelspruit, their base camp for the tournament. The preparation highlighted the team’s dedication and focus as they approached the crucial quarter-final match against Burkina Faso.
