Niger’s national football team, Mena, may have some concerns after suffering consecutive defeats. After a significant loss to Morocco in December (0-3), Mena faced another defeat against Ethiopia in a friendly match on Sunday in Addis Ababa, with Getaneh Kebede securing victory for the Antelopes Walya in the 37th minute.
Despite being without key players, including Moussa Maazou, Niger will need to regroup quickly, especially as they have a match against Togo scheduled for January 5 in Niamey.
Ethiopia, on the other hand, is continuing its preparation for upcoming competitions. The team is set to travel to Doha, Qatar, where they will face Tunisia in a friendly match on January 7. It remains to be seen how both Niger and Ethiopia will fare in their respective competitions following these friendly matches.
