Libya coach Abdelhafid Erbiche is undergoing a reshuffling of his team due to a series of withdrawals. In response to the absence of Ali Salama, who has been suspended for two matches by the Confederation of African Football, Erbiche has called up Ahmed Alouni for the upcoming CAN 2013 qualifiers match against Algeria.
In addition to Salama, other players have withdrawn from the Libyan team. Younes Chibani is unavailable due to injury, and Ahmed Senoussi has declined the call-up for family reasons.
The Libyan team has chosen the Hammam Bourguiba site in Tunisia for their preparation course. Two friendly matches against Tunisian clubs are scheduled before the team travels to Algeria. Abdelhafid Erbiche and his group are set to join Algeria on October 12 for the upcoming match.
