Algerian striker Mohamed Amine Aoudia, currently with ES Sétif and participating in the 2013 African Cup of Nations (CAN) with the Fennecs, has addressed rumors about a potential move to the African Club of Tunis. Aoudia clarified in a press conference that he has not received any concrete contact from the Tunisian club and considers the speculation as mere gossip.
Aoudia emphasized his focus on the CAN and stated, “I am far from all that. It is true that I will be at the end of my contract with ESS next June, but what concerns me currently is to achieve a good CAN with the selection.”
The president of the board of directors of ES Sétif, Azzedine Arab, had previously indicated that an agreement was reached with the African Club for Aoudia to sign a pre-contract. However, Aoudia is expected to join the club in the next off-season, reiterating the importance of maintaining focus on the current tournament and his responsibilities with the national team.
