Cameroon’s Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Professor Narcisse Mouelle Kombi, has reaffirmed the importance of clearly defined roles within the Indomitable Lions’ technical team, emphasizing the need for adherence to established regulations.
His remarks come amid discussions surrounding assistant coach Joachim Mununga’s position within the national team’s setup.
Addressing these concerns, Minister Mouelle Kombi underlined that the bench for Cameroon’s national team is strictly limited to seven seats, as per official guidelines.
He stressed that each member of the coaching staff has a designated function, which must be respected to ensure the team’s smooth operation and optimal performance.
The minister’s statement serves as a firm directive to maintain order and discipline within the Indomitable Lions’ hierarchy.
He called for Mununga’s role to be upheld without interference, allowing him to execute his duties effectively.
This intervention highlights the commitment of Cameroon’s sports authorities to enforcing structured leadership and maintaining a well-organized national team environment.
