Cameroon’s André-Frank Zambo Anguissa is set to miss the Indomitable Lions’ upcoming training camp as he recovers from injury.
The Napoli midfielder sustained the setback during his club’s Serie A clash against Inter Milan and has been ruled out of action.
According to Transfermarkt, Anguissa is expected to return to the pitch on March 17 – just three days before Cameroon’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against Eswatini.
His projected recovery timeline makes it highly unlikely that he will feature in Marc Brys’ squad for the crucial fixture.
Zambo Anguissa has been a key figure for both club and country this season, making 28 appearances for Napoli, scoring five goals, and providing five assists.
Cameroon will be hoping to have the influential midfielder back to full fitness for future fixtures as they continue their quest to secure a place at the 2026 World Cup.
