Cameroon and Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana has arrived in Burkina Faso to take part in a series of charity events organised by the Bertrand Traoré Foundation.
The 28-year-old was welcomed at Ouagadougou International Airport by his former Ajax teammate and Burkinabe international Bertrand Traoré, alongside members of the host’s entourage.
Onana’s presence marks a notable addition to the fourth edition of the “Charity Days” initiative launched by Traoré, captain of the Burkina Faso national team.
This year’s event, which runs for several days across multiple cities, brings together African footballers for a cause greater than the game.
