Toulouse secured a dramatic late draw against Monaco in Ligue 1, with Frank Magri emerging as the hero after scoring a last-minute equaliser in their 1-1 encounter on Friday. The result extends Toulouse’s positive run of form as they continue to show resilience in the league.

Magri Delivers for Toulouse

Trailing for much of the match, Toulouse refused to give up and were eventually rewarded for their persistence when Magri found the net in stoppage time.

The Cameroonian forward, who has been a key figure for his side, expressed his satisfaction with both his individual performance and the team’s fighting spirit.

“We are happy. I am happy on a personal level, but the most important thing is the collective effort,” Magri told DAZN after the match. “Over the last three matches, we have been in a good dynamic. We managed to take a point against a strong Monaco side, and everyone is pleased. It is tough to play against them, but we stayed united until the very end. Our solidarity allowed us to earn this result.”

Toulouse’s Strong Run Continues

Toulouse’s ability to battle until the final whistle has been a defining feature of their recent performances, and Friday’s match was no exception.

While Monaco looked set to claim victory, Toulouse’s determination ensured they came away with a valuable point, further cementing their reputation as a tough side to break down.

With Magri leading the charge, Toulouse will look to maintain their momentum in the upcoming fixtures as they aim to finish the season on a high.
