Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed the signing of rising Cameroonian star Christian Kofane in a €5 million deal from Spanish outfit Albacete.
The 20-year-old striker has signed a four-year contract with the Bundesliga club, committing his future to Leverkusen until 2028.
The transfer marks a swift ascent for Kofane, who only made his professional debut six months ago but quickly earned attention across Europe for his performances in Spain’s Segunda División.

His rapid development convinced Leverkusen’s scouting department of his readiness to compete at a higher level, and the club wasted little time securing the transfer.
