Cameroon winger Charles Eloundou moves to Anagen.Derynia from ASIL Lysi

Cameroon winger Charles Eloundou has made his next move in Cyprus, joining Anagen.Derynia from ASIL Lysi on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old left winger completed the switch on 30 August 2026 and has agreed a contract with the 2. Division club until 31 May 2027. Eloundou’s arrival at Anagen.Derynia follows a brief spell with ASIL Lysi, whom he joined at the start of July 2026, also as a free agent.

Eloundou has spent much of his career in Cyprus and brings experience from the country’s top flight and second tier. He has made 80 appearances in the Cyprus League, scoring seven goals and providing three assists, while his record in the 2. Division stands at 40 appearances, 16 goals and four assists.

The Yaounde-born player began his senior career in Cameroon before moving to the United States. His earlier clubs include Unisport Bafang, Fortuna du Mfou, Coton Sport FC, Colorado and Jacksonville Armada, with loan spells at Colorado Springs Switchbacks and Charlotte Independence also forming part of his career.

Eloundou returned to Cyprus with Nea Salamis in January 2018 and later joined Anorthosis as a free agent in July 2020. During his time with Anorthosis, he won the Cypriot Cup in the 2020-21 season. He subsequently spent the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Ethnikos before leaving Anorthosis.

After a period without a club, Eloundou joined Armada U-23 in February 2023 and later signed for Achyronas FC in August 2024. He then moved to Spartakos in August 2025, before switching to ASIL Lysi this summer.

His career record also includes appearances in Major League Soccer, the United Soccer League Championship, the NASL Fall Championship and the NASL Spring Championship. He has played in African and European qualifying competitions, including the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, Europa League qualifying and UEFA Conference League qualifying.

Eloundou’s free transfer to Anagen.Derynia was completed on 30 August 2026, with his contract running until the end of May 2027.
