Cameroon’s national team has revealed its new jerseys, designed by equipment supplier Fourteen, just ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Eswatini.
As promised in a teaser on its social media channels, Fourteen officially unveiled the new kits on Tuesday, presenting three versions—home, away, and third kits—all featuring a distinctive V-neck design.
The front of the jerseys prominently displays the national team’s emblem, featuring the lion’s iconic mane, alongside the Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) logo.
The manufacturer’s logo is positioned between them at the upper center.
The lower section of the shirt incorporates a pattern that mimics the feline’s ferocious claws, adding a symbolic touch to the design.
Traditional colors representing national identity
The home kit remains true to Cameroon’s traditional green, while the away jersey features a bold red, reflecting the second color of the national flag.
The third kit is predominantly white, adorned with green, red, and yellow stripes across the lower section—an unmistakable nod to the nation’s flag.
During their final training session ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Eswatini at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit, players were seen sporting the new kits, as highlighted in photos shared by Fecafoot.
Special edition jerseys introduced
In addition to the primary kits, Fourteen has launched a collection of exclusive jerseys.
“The Premium Jersey, the player’s official match jersey; the Stadium Jersey, a high-quality replica; and the Fan Jersey, featuring a unique design exclusively available in green,” the manufacturer announced.
Fourteen’s appointment as Cameroon’s official kit supplier was confirmed on February 4, a decision that surprised many who had expected a more established brand in the football world.
The announcement sparked criticism directed at Fecafoot president Samuel Eto’o, with some drawing comparisons between Cameroon’s new deal and Kosovo’s national team setup.
Despite initial skepticism, the new kits mark a fresh chapter for the Indomitable Lions as they continue their campaign for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
