Cameroon international André-Frank Zambo Anguissa is set to seal a massive cash deal to Saudi Arabia giants Al Hilal.
Despite having a running contract with Napoli, the highly-rated midfielder has reportedly accepted a lucrative offer to join the Saudi Arabia club.
Anguissa joined Napoli in 2022 and established himself as a key cog to the team, playing an instrumental role in the club’s league success two seasons ago.
The 29-year-old is reportedly on the verge of joining Saudi Pro League giants, with the deal being facilitated by the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Meanwhile, Anguissa is said to be ready for a new challenge outside Europe.
Napoli could receive a transfer fee in the region of €25 million—a significant return considering the player’s expiring deal.
For Anguissa, the move offers both financial security and a fresh start in one of football’s fastest-growing markets.
Having risen through the ranks at Coton Sport and later shining with Marseille, Fulham, and Villarreal, Anguissa may now join the wave of elite talent heading to the Middle East.
