Cameroon international André-Frank Zambo Anguissa has emerged as a top transfer target for Turkish top-flight side Besiktas this summer.
Besiktas are keen on bolstering their squad for the new campaign, and Anguissa, who plies his trade for Italian outfit Napoli has emerged as one of their targets.
The Turkish outfit view the Cameroonian as a major reinforcement for the midfield, aiming to boost their chances of competing for the championship next season.
Napoli wants a transfer fee in the region of €18 million, with talks currently ongoing between both parties.
In the 2024/25 season, Anguissa was a key performer, making 37 appearances across all competitions, scoring 6 goals, and providing 5 assists.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined Napoli in August 2022 and has since established himself as a key member of the team. His current contract with the club is expected to expire in the summer of 2027.
Since joining the club, Anguissa has won two Serie A titles with the Naples-based club.
