Cameroon’s national team has confirmed its fixtures for the FIFA Series 2026, set to take place in Australia next March.
The Indomitable Lions will face the hosts alongside China and Curaçao as they look to test their squad and fine-tune tactics ahead of the next international competitions.
The tournament will see Cameroon play two matches at some of Australia’s most iconic football venues.
Their first game is scheduled for 27 March in Sydney against the Socceroos, a clash expected to challenge the Cameroonian side against Australia’s physical and disciplined style of play.
Four days later, on 31 March, Cameroon will face China in their second fixture, providing a different tactical challenge against an Asian opponent.
For Cameroon’s coaching staff, the FIFA Series 2026 is more than a series of friendlies.
It offers a critical opportunity to assess players, test new formations, and strengthen team cohesion in a competitive international environment.
By competing against teams from different confederations, the Indomitable Lions can identify areas for improvement and build the tactical versatility needed for global tournaments.
“These matches will help us see where we are and give opportunities to players who deserve to show their talent on the international stage,” said a source from the Cameroonian Football Federation. “It’s about preparation, cohesion, and continuing our journey as one of Africa’s leading teams.”
With the world watching, Cameroon will aim to combine experience and emerging talent, using the tournament to continue their rise on the international football scene.
