Manchester United have targeted AC Milan and France goalkeeper Mike Maignan as a replacement for Cameroonian, Andre Onana.
Ruben Amorim, who is the head coach of Manchester United has increasingly grown frustrated with the performance of Onana in recent times, and is already in the haunt of a new goalkeeper.
Onana, who joined the Red Devils from Inter Milan currently find himself in danger as the club pushes to sign a new goalkeeper ahead of the summer window.
The Premier League giants are poised to fix their goalkeeping crisis, heading into the new season and has identified Mike Maignan as their primary target to replace Onana at the club.
Manchester United are expected to make a move for the highly-rated Milan goalkeeper in the summer, undermining Onana’s future at the club.
Meanwhile, Milan and Maignan are said to have already agreed on all the details of a new contract, which is set until 2028. The contract also includes an option for an additional season with a new salary of 5 million euros net per year.
The 28-year-old Cameroonian goalkeeper has made 36 appearances this season, conceding 50 goals and keeping 8 clean sheets.
