Cameroon international Andre Onana will return in goal for Manchester United when they take on Olympique Lyon in the crucial Europa League quarterfinals clash.
The Red Devils will play host to the French giants on Thursday in the return leg of the Europa League campaign.
Onana committed blunders in the first leg clash held in France as the game ended in a 2-2 draw. He was subsequently dropped against Newcastle United at the weekend with Altay Bayindir taking his place between the sticks. However, he didn’t cover himself in glory as the Red Devils lost 4-1.
At a press conference, Ruben Amorim has confirmed that André Onana will return in goal against Lyon.
Having not even been part of the squad that lost to Newcastle on Sunday, Onana is set to re-take his place in the starting line-up against Lyon.
The Manchester United manager also confirmed that after sustaining a hamstring injury over the weekend, Joshua Zirkzee with not only miss the game against OL, he will also miss the rest of the season.
