Cameroon forward Karl Etta Eyong ends 16-game goal drought at Levante 

Cameroon international Karl Etta Eyong has ended his 16-game goal in the Spanish La Liga, scoring and assisting a goal as Levante triumphed over Alaves at the weekend.

Eyong, who had struggled to find the back of the net or create chances since the end of October 2025, came off the bench in the 79th minute and immediately made his presence felt. With a precise pass, he set up Carlos Espi to break the deadlock, securing Levante’s 2-0 victory. This marked Eyong’s fourth assist of the season, providing hope that his offensive form is returning.

The Cameroonian forward had begun the season in excellent fashion, contributing six goals and three assists before encountering a rough patch that saw his productivity dip dramatically.
