Belgian tactician Marc Brys will continue as head coach of the Cameroonian national team despite being linked with the UAE job.
The experienced trainer was considered for the United Arab Emirates coaching job. With the Emirati Federation turning to Romanian coach Cosmin Olăroiu for the job, Cameroon can breathe a sigh of relief.
Brys is expected to lead the Indomitable Lions following an impressive with the African giants.
He remains unbeaten after 10 matches in charge, winning six and drawing four matches across the period.
Cameroon recorded one win and draw in the March international break. The African giants played out a 0-0 draw with Eswatini before beating Libya in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
With Marc Brys staying, Cameroon will have to concentrate to fix problems surrounding the team amid conflict between the Cameroonian FA and Sports Ministry.
