Cambodian-Cameroonian winger Privat Mbarga brings experience and goals to Dangkor Senchey

Privat Mbarga has joined Cambodian Premier League side Dangkor Senchey from Indonesia’s Dewa United on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old right winger returns to Cambodia after playing for Dewa United, with the move giving Dangkor Senchey an experienced forward who has previously enjoyed success in the country’s top flight. Mbarga is known for his preference for the right foot and was born in Douala, Cameroon.

Mbarga’s career has included spells across Cambodia and Indonesia. Before moving to Dangkor Senchey, he was with Dewa United, having joined the Indonesian club from Bali United in July 2025, also on a free transfer. He spent part of the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Bhayangkara FC before returning to Dewa United at the end of the season.

His record in Cambodian competition includes 11 appearances, 15 goals and seven assists, while he has also scored 41 times and supplied 32 assists in 139 Super League appearances. Those figures underline the attacking output he has produced across his career, particularly during his time in Cambodia.

Mbarga previously represented Svay Rieng, where he won the Cambodian championship in 2019. He was named C-League Player of the Year twice, in the 2018-19 and 2020-21 seasons, and finished as the league’s leading scorer in both 2018-19 and 2019-20.

His 2018-19 campaign was especially prolific, with 36 goals in the C-League. He followed that with 16 goals in the Cambodian Premier League during the 2019-20 season. Mbarga also won the Indonesian title with Bali United in the 2021-22 season.

The winger began his senior club career in Cambodia with Boeung Ket and Phnom Penh before moving to Cambodian Tiger, Nagaworld FC and then Samut Prakan FC in Thailand. He subsequently joined Asia Euro United before returning to Svay Rieng.

Dangkor Senchey compete in the C. Premier League, where Mbarga’s previous achievements and attacking statistics add significant experience to the squad. His latest move was completed on 28 August 2026.
