Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi did not mince words as he criticized Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing for a late challenge during Sunday’s 1-1 draw. Hudson-Odoi, the former Chelsea attacker, not only found the net for Forest but also bore the brunt of a contentious tackle from Billing, resulting in the latter’s expulsion from the game.

Reflecting on the incident, Hudson-Odoi expressed his dismay, labeling the challenge as “horrific.” He commented, “It was horrific (the challenge).

I’m waiting for it to settle down,” indicating the impact the tackle had on him.

Despite the contentious moment, Hudson-Odoi shared his perspective on the overall performance of the team.

“From our side of things, we don’t want to concede from corners. After half-time, we were pushing and pushing. It’s just unfortunate that we were not able to get another goal,” he remarked.

The winger emphasized his growing confidence and expressed his goal of contributing more goals to the team for the remainder of the season.

Addressing the team’s aspirations, Hudson-Odoi mentioned, “We came to get the three points. We’ll take the point and hopefully in the next league game, we can get three points.”

The winger’s determination and focus on the team’s objectives provide a glimpse into Nottingham Forest’s ambitions as they navigate the challenges of the season.
