The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the draw for the quarter-finals of both the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup will take place on March 13, 2024, in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
In the CAF Champions League, the qualified teams for the quarter-finals are as follows:
Pot 1: Al Ahly (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Petro Atletico (Angola), ASEC (Ivory Coast)
Pot 2: TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Esperance (Tunisia), Simba SC (Tanzania), Young Africans (Tanzania)
Tunisia’s Esperance will face one of the top teams from the other groups in the quarter-finals, which include Al Ahly (Egypt), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), or ASEC (Ivory Coast).
In the CAF Confederation Cup, the qualified teams for the quarter-finals are:
Pot 1: USM Alger (Algeria), Zamalek (Egypt), Dreams FC (Ghana), RS Berkane (Morocco)
Pot 2: Pyramids FC (Egypt), Abu Salim (Libya), Rivers United (Nigeria), Stade Malien (Mali)
The first leg matches will be played between March 29th and March 31st, while the second leg matches are scheduled for April 5th to April 7th.
