The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has disclosed the officiating crew for the upcoming match between Al Ahly and Young Africans Tanzanian in the sixth and final round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
CAF has assigned the management of the match, scheduled for next Friday, to Beninese referee Louis Djégoundou.
He will be assisted by Eric Ayimavo and Louis Houtounou, with Tensila Djigbachi serving as the fourth official.
Al Ahly secured their spot in the quarter-finals after Young Africans Tanzanian defeated Algeria’s CR Belouizdad 4-0 last Saturday in the fifth round of Group D.
Requiring just a single point, Al Ahly aims to clinch the top spot and secure the group’s leadership, holding 9 points, while Young Africans Tanzanian possess 8 points.
Al Ahly is gearing up to face Baladiyat Al-Mahalla tomorrow evening in a postponed match from the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
