The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has informed officials of Zamalek Club of the appointment of a refereeing team from Ethiopia to officiate the first team’s football match against SOAR Coyah of Guinea.
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 3rd, at 9:00 PM at Cairo Stadium, as part of the final round of group stage matches in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The refereeing team comprises Theodoros Meteko as the referee, assisted by Fasika Youlichit and Mustafa Meki Mohamed as assistant referees, with Halioussou Beliti serving as the fourth official.
CAF has appointed Moroccan Jamal Kaouchi as the match commissioner, with Tanzanian Lesley Leonard appointed as the referee assessor.
Zamalek’s first football team currently leads its group in the CAF Confederation Cup with 13 points from four victories and a draw, securing its qualification for the quarter-finals of the tournament.
